RCIA contact
Mr. Michael Verceles 510-782-4292
The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) is the process whereby adults enter the Catholic Church. RCIA classes are held weekly and over the course of several months those who attend the RCIA classes are educated on what the Catholic Church believes and are given the oppurtunity to ask question about those beliefs.
Just because you start RCIA, doesn't mean you are committed to finished. If you are merely curious about what Catholicism is, please feel free to come. All are welcome.
RCIA class sign-ups are starting June 1, 2023 and classes will start on September 6, 2023 at 7:00pm. Office hours are 11:00 am until 4:00 pm, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. What you will need to bring, if you are new to the faith and were never baptized please bring a copy of your birth certificate. If you have been baptized but never did your First Holy Communion please bring a copy of your baptismal certificate. If you are needing to receive the sacrament of confirmation only you will need to provide a copy of your baptized certificate and First Holy Communion certificate. There is an application you will fill out and also a $75 registration fee. For more information please contact Michael Verceles at 510-782-4292 or [email protected].
